About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this fabric has a practical handled feel that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The 9cm repeat creates a neat check that reads from a distance but still shows texture up close. In this colourway, the ground is a muted mulberry-brown with soft beige notes, while the grid lines appear as deeper plum-brown bands for a subtle contrast. The overall effect is smart and understated rather than bright, with the woven surface helping the darker lines sit crisply against the warmer background. At 140cm wide, it is a useful cloth for coordinated schemes where a measured, classic pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench seat or tailored curtains where the warm mulberry tone can sit alongside timber, leather or aged brass. It also pairs well with cream paintwork and deeper berry accents for a layered, traditional room.
