About this fabric

Woven in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, this checked fabric has a tidy, even handle that suits everyday interiors. The 140cm width makes it practical for larger projects, while the 9cm pattern repeat keeps the check visibly structured and easy to align. In this colourway, the duck-egg teal reads muted and slightly greyed, with the lighter lines lifting the surface and the darker crossbars adding definition. The overall effect is calm and tailored rather than bold, giving the cloth a fresh but restrained character.

How to use it

Use Bamburgh Duck Egg to bring a cool, coastal note to upholstered chairs, cushions, or café curtains. Its pale teal tone sits especially well with oak, chalky white paintwork, and other soft neutrals.

A fresh duck-egg check that works well on tailored upholstery or light curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
