About this fabric

From the Persia collection by Fryett's Fabrics, this fabric is woven in 100% recycled polyester and measures 140cm wide, with a pattern repeat of 12.3cm vertically and 8.5cm horizontally. The small-scale oval motif reads as layered jade, teal, blush and rust, with darker centres that sharpen the design and stop it feeling too sweet. In the image, the colours sit on a textured ground that gives the fabric a lively, slightly mottled depth rather than a flat print look. Care is listed as NQT1<, so it is best handled with that specification in mind when planning use.

How to use it

Its cool jade base and coral edging work well with warm woods, brass and plain linen, where the pattern can supply colour without needing extra contrast. It would also make a striking blind or accent chair in a room that already has soft neutrals and a little terracotta.

Use for tailored upholstery or statement drapery where the jewel-toned pattern can add energy without overpowering the room.
