About this fabric

This colourway has a dense charcoal-grey appearance with cool undertones and a gentle cross-fibre texture visible across the cloth. Woven in 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose, it has the natural character of linen with a smoother, more settled drape in the blend. The 140cm width makes it practical for a wide range of interior projects, and the plain design keeps the emphasis on tone and texture rather than pattern. With no repeat to match, it is especially straightforward to use on simple upholstery pieces or relaxed soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use Liana Charcoal to ground pale walls, timber and stone with a crisp dark neutral that feels modern and composed. It pairs well with lighter linens, warm oak and muted metallic accents for a smart, low-key room.

A versatile dark neutral that works neatly on seating or as understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
