About this fabric

This plain bouclé from Fryett's Fabrics has a compact, softly nubby surface that gives the red colour plenty of depth. The 94% polyester and 6% cotton composition helps create a practical fabric with a tactile finish, while the 140cm width makes it straightforward for upholstery projects. With no pattern repeat, the focus stays on the tonal movement across the weave rather than any motif. In this colourway, the red sits between garnet and wine, giving it a smart, grounded feel rather than a bright or glossy look.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or occasional sofa where the warm berry tone can add richness without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with dark timber, soft taupe and aged metal finishes.

Pairs well with walnut wood, brass accents and warm neutrals.
