About this fabric

This colourway of Stockholm shows a repeated geometric print made up of slim vertical bars and staggered blocks, creating a tidy linear pattern across the cloth. The ochre shades read as mustard-gold rather than bright yellow, softened by grey, black and natural cream for a balanced finish. It is woven in 100% cotton and measures 140cm wide, with a 64cm pattern repeat, so the design has enough scale to make an impact on cushions, blinds or statement upholstery. The surface appears relatively smooth and light in hand from the image, which suits a versatile decorative fabric rather than a heavy textured cloth. Care instructions are noted as NQT1<.

How to use it

Use Stockholm Ochre to bring warmth into a room with oak, linen and charcoal accents, where the ochre notes can echo timber tones without feeling overly rustic. It works especially well on a Roman blind or accent chair, where the repeating vertical pattern can be seen clearly.

A warm ochre palette that lifts wood and works well against clean neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Stockholm Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
