Stockholm Orange

Prints Fabric

Stockholm Orange is a lively geometric print on a soft, light ground, with slender vertical bars in orange, ochre, olive and charcoal. The overall effect is bright but controlled, giving the swatch a warm, graphic rhythm rather than a heavy statement.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and supplied at 140cm wide, Stockholm Orange has a relaxed handle that suits both curtains and lighter upholstery projects. The 64cm pattern repeat creates a clear vertical cadence, with narrow columns of stippled orange, mustard, sage and black breaking across the pale base. In this colourway the orange reads as warm amber rather than a blunt bright, so it feels sunlit and energetic without becoming harsh. The slightly textured print finish adds depth and keeps the design looking crisp from a distance and tactile up close. Care instruction NQT1< should be followed for best results.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth into a neutral room, especially alongside oak, linen and muted green accents. The amber-orange notes work particularly well where you want pattern, but still want the overall palette to feel earthy and balanced.

Pair with natural woods and plain linens to let the vertical colour blocks do the work.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Stockholm Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
