About this fabric

This fabric is a 137cm wide plain from Fryett's Fabrics' Plains & Semi Plains collection, made in 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The swatch shows a warm ochre base with golden brown notes and a slightly heathered, linear weave that gives the surface a subtle ribbed movement. Its finish looks matte rather than shiny, so the colour sits in a grounded, mellow register rather than a bright yellow. With no pattern repeat and a simple construction, it works as an adaptable cloth for furnishing and window treatment projects alike. Care instructions are noted as NQT1<.

How to use it

Use this ochre tone to warm up timber, leather and tobacco-brown interiors, or pair it with natural linens for a calm, sunlit look. It also works well as a tonal backdrop to deeper rust, olive or charcoal accents.
