Liana Spice

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Liana Spice is a warm, earthy plain with a softly woven look and a rich burnt-orange glow. The colour reads as a grounded spice tone rather than a bright orange, giving it a calm, usable presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose, this 140cm fabric has the natural-looking texture and gentle irregularity you can see in the close flat weave. The Spice colourway is a muted terracotta-orange with warm brown undertones, so it feels sun-baked and inviting rather than sharp or glossy. Its plain surface allows the subtle linen slub to add depth without introducing pattern, making the fabric feel quietly textural. With no performance features noted and no pattern repeat, it suits schemes that want a straightforward, tactile cloth with a relaxed finish.

How to use it

Use Liana Spice to bring warmth to pale timber, cream walls or muted green accents, where its earthy orange tone can add depth without overpowering the room. It works especially well on cushions, occasional chairs or simple curtains in informal living spaces.

A warm spice-toned plain that works beautifully for upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
