About this fabric

This colourway combines 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose, giving the cloth a natural-looking texture with a subtle softness in the hand. At 140cm wide and with no pattern repeat, it is straightforward to use for both upholstery and drapery projects. The surface appears calm and finely woven, with the verdigris green sitting between sage and antique moss for a subdued, tonal finish. There are no performance features noted, so this is best chosen for interiors where the colour and tactile character are the focus.

How to use it

Use Verdigris to soften timber interiors, where its muted green depth can bring a gentle, earthy counterpoint to oak, stone and neutral upholstery. It also suits layered curtains or loose covers when you want colour that feels restrained rather than decorative.

A quietly weathered green that works well with oak, linen and aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
