About this fabric

Woven in 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose, this 140cm-wide fabric has the breathable, slightly slubby character you would expect from a cotton-linen blend, softened by the viscose content. The swatch shows a muted taupe with a gentle beige-brown cast, neither too grey nor too pink, so it reads as quietly warm rather than cool. Its plain, pattern-free appearance and fine texture make it a good choice where you want depth without obvious decoration. Care code NQT1< is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this taupe as a neutral foundation beside oak, brushed brass or chalky off-white finishes, where its soft warmth will keep the room feeling settled. It is especially effective on relaxed seating, cushions or simple curtains when you want texture to do the talking.
