About this fabric

The colourway has an earthy, low-saturation depth: olive forms the dominant ground, while ochre-gold and ivory stripes bring measured warmth and contrast. Its close chevron-like weave catches the light subtly, so the surface reads as textured and woven rather than flat. Made from 35% jute and 65% linen, the fabric is 134.91 cm (53 inches) wide and is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The horizontal pattern repeat is 26.73 cm (10.5 inches), with a 6,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair this olive-and-sepia stripe with warm timber, aged brass and cream upholstery for an inviting, quietly graphic room. Its vertical bands would bring structure to curtains or a tailored chair, while the muted gold prevents the scheme from feeling stark.

A warm, tailored stripe with a tactile jute-and-linen weave for upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
