About this fabric

Catalogued as Velvet, this colourway is shown with a deep olive green ground and a strongly contrasting pattern in near-black olive tones. Paired serpents curve around ornate floral centres, while smaller leaves, scrolls and shell-like details fill the spaces between the larger repeats. The low-key palette gives the design a dusky, antique character, with the dark motifs appearing to recede and advance across the surface. Its large-scale symmetry makes the fabric especially suited to statement upholstery where the full repeat can be appreciated.

How to use it
