About this fabric

The pale alabaster ground has a clearly visible, fine linen texture that gives the swatch a natural, gently irregular surface. Large embroidered blooms and winding stems create a generous botanical pattern, with mauve and rose flowers balanced by cool blue-grey, sage and muted teal leaves. The restrained, weathered colour palette gives this colourway a quiet antique mood, while darker stitched outlines keep the floral forms defined. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory base to brighten curtains in a layered, light-filled room, or pair it with painted wood and muted sage upholstery for a softly collected scheme. Repeat the dusty mauve and blue-grey accents in cushions or trims to draw out the embroidery without competing with its large scale.

A warm alabaster ground softens the richly detailed botanical embroidery, making it suitable for curtains or decorative upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
