About this fabric

The fine, irregular mesh weave is visible as closely spaced vertical and horizontal threads, creating a softly tactile surface rather than a directional pattern. With a weight of 282gsm and a usable width of 297cm, this textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, confirming the surface as an unpatterned weave. A thread count of 160 threads per cm gives the oyster tone a finely detailed, even appearance, while the 30m standard length supports larger projects.

How to use it

Use Mesh Oyster to bring a gentle warm-grey note to a calm, tonal room, where its subtle woven depth can sit alongside cream boucle, pale timber and brushed metal. Its neutral oyster cast also works well on softly tailored seating or full-height curtains without introducing a strong visual motif.

Its softly warm oyster-taupe tone and fine mesh texture pair easily with natural woods, pale stone and understated upholstery or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
