About this fabric

This woven design has a marbled, paisley-like rhythm, with curling motifs repeated across a warm linen ground and delicate rose, taupe and grey accents. The colourway reads muted rather than sugary: its dusty pink undertone is softened by the pale neutral base, while the closely drawn lines create gentle depth as the light moves over the surface. At 220 gsm and 305 cm usable width, it offers a versatile mid-weight for upholstery and drapery. The 35.1 cm vertical and 47.4 cm horizontal repeats give the swirling pattern a considered, orderly scale, supported by a stated 108 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair Spinel Rose Quartz/Linen with chalky creams, warm stone and soft grey, using it on a reading chair, relaxed sofa or full-length curtains. Its faded rose cast also works as a subtle bridge between neutral upholstery and muted pink or taupe accents.

Use its softly blended rose-beige tones to bring gentle pattern and texture to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Spinel Rose Quartz/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
