About this fabric

The design is formed from overlapping curved bands, each outlined in deep Japanese ink and softened by a fine lighter line within the motif. Its cream ground keeps the colourway bright, while the navy gives it depth without the visual heaviness of a solid dark cloth. At 318 gsm and with 34 threads per centimetre, it has a substantial textile presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 135.5 cm usable width and approximately 44.8 cm vertical by 45 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use it to upholster a clean-lined occasional chair or bench where the ink geometry can be read clearly, or carry the cream-and-navy palette into tailored curtains and cushions. Pair it with warm timber and quiet off-whites to soften the pattern’s crisp, cool contrast.

A crisp cream-and-ink geometric textile that brings graphic definition to upholstery, cushions, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
