Ikigai Seafoam

Harlequin x Henry Holland Fabrics FabricHAF0586-03

Ikigai Seafoam combines a cool, pale seafoam ground with cream and olive accents in a tightly ordered woven design. Its small interlocking pattern has a visibly ridged, dimensional surface that gives the colourway gentle depth.

About this fabric

Woven at 535 gsm, Ikigai Seafoam has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The image shows alternating vertical blocks and fine horizontal ridges, creating a compact geometric repeat in seafoam, soft cream and muted olive rather than a flat, single-colour surface. The vertical pattern repeat is 18 cm and the horizontal repeat is 11.4 cm, keeping the motif neatly scaled across a 132.5 cm usable width. Its supplied construction is 28 threads per cm, contributing to the close visual texture seen in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Ikigai Seafoam on a chair, ottoman or sofa where its cool green tone can sit alongside chalky neutrals, pale timber and olive accents. The cream interruptions help soften the seafoam while the darker olive lines add enough definition for tailored upholstery.

Use this cool seafoam, cream and olive weave to bring softly structured colour to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ikigai Seafoam without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
