About this fabric

The Matcha colourway combines deep olive-moss green with lighter sage tones and creamy dotted edging, giving the pattern depth without losing its grounded, botanical character. The velvet surface catches the light unevenly, bringing gentle tonal variation across the tightly repeated curled floral motifs. With a 416 gsm weight and 133.1 cm usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery velvet. The pattern repeats every 29.5 cm vertically and 22 cm horizontally, creating a consistent all-over design rather than a single directional feature.

How to use it

Use this deep, slightly cool green on an occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where the dense cream-edged motif can read as texture as well as pattern. Pair it with chalky cream, aged timber and muted brass to soften the colourway's ornate, high-impact surface.
