Perla Blush

Leonida Velvets Edit VelvetHAF0042-01

Perla Blush combines a dusky blush-pink velvet ground with irregular brown and plum-toned horizontal marks. Its softly reflective surface gives the colourway a warm, tactile depth as the light moves across the pile.

About this fabric

The blush ground reads muted and softly mauve, while broken bands of deep brown create a weathered, painterly striation across the surface. Fine vertical texture and the velvet’s subtle sheen keep the darker marks from appearing flat, giving this colourway a rich but softened character. At 705 gsm, Perla Blush has the substantial handle expected of a heavy upholstery velvet, with 58 threads per cm. The design has a 56 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat, supplied in a 136 cm usable width.

How to use it

Use Perla Blush to upholster a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its dusky pink tone can sit against warm timber, aged brass and dark brown leather. The broken horizontal pattern also suits a room needing texture without a sharply geometric motif.

Use this weighty blush velvet on statement upholstery, pairing its brown striations with walnut, bronze or deep plum accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
