Selo Gold

Salinas Prints And Weaves FabricHAF0338-02

Selo Gold combines a warm ochre-gold ground with crisp ivory geometric outlines, forming a regular field of linked hexagonal shapes. The close-set motif gives the colourway a confident, graphic presence without losing the softness of a textile surface.

About this fabric

The mustard-gold tone is warm and earthy, while the pale ivory lines sharpen each nested hexagon and make the repeat read clearly across the cloth. Its 25cm vertical repeat and 17.6cm horizontal repeat create a measured, architectural rhythm rather than a loose organic pattern. At 340gsm and 141cm usable width, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suitable for upholstery and drapery applications. The specification also records 188 threads per centimetre, consistent with the image’s compact, even-looking surface.

How to use it

Pair Selo Gold with warm neutrals, tobacco leather or deep olive accents to balance its ochre ground. Its ivory geometry would work particularly well on a statement chair, tailored cushions or full-height curtains where the repeat can be appreciated.

Use the warm gold ground to bring graphic definition to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Selo Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
