About this fabric

The 460 gsm weight and 154 threads per cm give this fabric a substantial, closely made handle suited to upholstery. Across the gold-taupe ground, pale cream and grey-beige motifs appear as scattered, softly distressed floral or foliate tracery. The 75.5 cm vertical repeat and 72 cm horizontal repeat create a measured rhythm while retaining the design’s all-over, mottled character. With a 141 cm usable width, it offers practical coverage for upholstered furniture and larger panels.

How to use it

Use this warm gold and taupe colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or footstool where its pale mottling can soften darker timber and aged metallic accents. It also works with cream, stone and muted brown furnishings for a layered, heritage-inspired scheme.

A warm, richly mottled upholstery cloth that brings softly aged gold and taupe depth to classic seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aconite Gold/Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
