About this fabric

Aconite Steel/Chalk shows a pale chalk ground broken by cool steel-grey, irregular etched markings and softly mottled patches. The low-contrast pattern shifts from fine speckling to denser clouded areas, giving the surface a gently weathered, mineral character. At 460 gsm and 154 threads per cm, it has a substantial, closely made presence appropriate to upholstery. Its 141 cm usable width and 75.5 cm vertical by 72 cm horizontal repeat give the design room to read across larger upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use this cool chalk-and-steel colourway on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where its pale ground can keep the room light while the muted grey markings add quiet depth. It pairs naturally with soft white, blue-grey and pale timber tones.
