Molecule Hazel
Textures 6 FabricHAF0290-06
Molecule Hazel is a warm, earthy brown textile with a closely nubby surface that gives the colour gentle tonal variation. Its compact woven texture catches the light in small flecks rather than forming a separate motif.

About this fabric
The 462 gsm weight and dense 20 threads-per-centimetre construction give Molecule Hazel a substantial, upholstery-friendly presence. Its hazel brown tone moves between taupe, cocoa and muted olive-brown in the close weave, creating depth without a printed pattern. The fabric has a 138 cm usable width and a standard 40 m length. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, the textured surface can be applied continuously without matching a design.
How to use it
Use Molecule Hazel on a generous sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its warm brown depth can sit comfortably with timber, aged leather and softer neutral textiles. Its small-scale nubby weave also works well as a grounding plain against more expressive cushions or curtains.
A substantial, tactile hazel-brown weave suited to upholstery where its nubby surface can add warmth and depth.
Pairs well with
Molecule Hazel is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
