About this fabric

This plain fabric from the Amalfi collection by J Brown is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a Martindale rating of 60,000 for hard-wearing performance. In this colourway, the cloth shows a warm mocha brown with gentle tonal variation and a low-sheen finish that softens the overall look. The surface appears fine and even rather than textured or slubby, which gives it a neat, tailored appearance for seating or smart soft furnishings. It is supplied back coated to cigarette and match standards to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is recommended for care.

How to use it

Use Mocha where you want a deeper neutral that still feels warm, such as a tailored sofa, banquette or upholstered headboard. It works especially well with cream, tan and bronze accents, where the brown tone reads inviting and quietly refined.
