Water Meadow Marshlands Clementine Wavy

SS22 Images - Enchanted Garden, Geometrica, Water Meadow & Portland Fabric

Water Meadow Marshlands Clementine Wavy is a lively botanical print set on a soft warm-cream ground. The flowing stems and meadow shapes read airy and painterly, with the folds of the cloth giving the design extra movement.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, this fabric has a relaxed, natural handle that suits both upholstery and drapery, and it is treatable for FR use in each. The design is spread across a generous 46cm horizontal and vertical repeat, giving the scattered meadow stems room to breathe across the 141cm usable width. In this colourway the palette feels fresh but gently muted: coral pinks, soft teal, apricot, sage and a few deeper berry notes sit against the cream base without becoming too bright. A Martindale score of 20,000 and General Domestic upholstery grade make it well suited to lighter seating, cushions and decorative curtains.

How to use it

Use it in a sunroom, bedroom or garden-facing sitting room where the cream ground can keep the scheme light. It pairs especially well with pale timber, woven textures and quiet greens or blush accents.

Pair with natural woods and matte finishes to let the painterly colours stand out.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Water Meadow Marshlands Clementine Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
