Water Meadow Marshlands Cobalt Wavy has a fresh, painterly look, with meadow stems and leaves drifting across a pale ground. The cobalt accents give the design a cool, watery lift without overpowering the softer greens, lilacs and greys.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 141cm and a 46cm horizontal and vertical repeat, so the tall meadow motifs can be matched cleanly across a scheme. The visible ground is soft and light, which makes the cobalt blues feel crisp rather than heavy, while the supporting lilac, mint and sage notes keep the print airy. It is rated for General Domestic upholstery with a 20,000 Martindale rub test, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Better Cotton content adds a considered sourcing note to this versatile textile.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a cooler, more luminous take on the Water Meadow design, especially in rooms with white-painted woodwork or pale timber. It works well for relaxed curtains, accent chairs or soft furnishings that can pick up the blue and green notes in the print.
