About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric has a dry, natural handle that still reads refined in the cloth. The 140 cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale rating make it suitable for upholstery as well as drapery, and it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Visually, the background is a muted haze green with a fine speckled look, while the repeated leaf motif adds soft turquoise, olive and lilac accents outlined in white. The 69 cm horizontal and 60 cm vertical pattern repeats give the design a measured, decorative rhythm without feeling busy.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, bench cushion or lined curtains where the sage ground can soften stronger woods and painted finishes. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper plum accents.

A fresh sage ground with painterly leaves that suits relaxed country schemes and softened contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
