About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Summer Malachite has a usable width of 138cm and is rated to 20,000 Martindale, making it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The print shows a large-scale, trailing floral motif with scalloped blooms, paisley-like shapes and leafy stems, all picked out in fresh malachite greens, pinks and touches of burgundy on a warm ivory base. The colourway reads crisp rather than dark, so the green elements stand forward cleanly without feeling heavy. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, adding practical flexibility for decorative schemes. Better Cotton content gives the fabric an added sustainability note.

How to use it

Use it to bring energy to a fitted armchair, roman blind or statement cushions, especially where the room needs a bright green note. It works particularly well with pale timber, cream paint and simple textured plains that let the pattern lead.

Pair with quiet neutrals to let the vivid green florals and pale ground stay in focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
