About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 138cm and a Martindale of 20,000, so it sits comfortably in the General Domestic upholstery range while remaining suitable for drapery and accessories. The image shows a dense trailing botanical pattern with large stylised blooms, small floral sprigs and leaf forms in teal, moss green, ochre and burnt orange. On the black ground, the colours look more saturated and crisp, with the printed texture giving the surface a tactile, textile-led feel rather than a flat graphic finish. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, and the Better Cotton content adds a useful sustainability note to the specification.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern and contrast without brightening the room too much: a statement armchair, curtains or Roman blinds will all suit the deep noir base. It pairs well with walnut wood, aged brass and plain linens in warm neutrals to let the jewel tones stand forward.
