Jardine Parvani Onyx Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

Jardine Parvani Onyx Wavy shows a rich black ground filled with stylised botanical and bird motifs in teal, coral, gold and ivory. The dark base gives the design a dramatic depth, while the printed details keep it lively and highly decorative.

About this fabric

Woven in a 77% viscose and 23% linen blend, this fabric has a soft, refined handle with enough substance for accessories, drapery and general domestic upholstery. The 140cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale rating make it suitable for practical decorative use, and it can be treated for FR drapery and upholstery. Visually, the Onyx colourway is the most dramatic of the design family: a near-black ground that allows the teal stems, warm coral berries and pale gold leaf forms to stand out sharply. The large 69cm horizontal and 60cm vertical repeat supports the bold, patterned character seen in the swatch, with the dark ground helping the motif feel crisp rather than busy.

How to use it

Pair it with matte black, smoked timber or brass details to lean into the moody, opulent feel of the onyx ground. It works especially well for cushion fronts, occasional chairs or full-length curtains where the dark background can frame the brighter accents.

Use it to bring a dramatic, jewel-toned focal point to statement seating or lined drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
