About this fabric

Jardine Parvani Delft Wavy is woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, with a usable width of 140cm and a 20,000 Martindale rub test for General Domestic use. The large-scale repeat of 69cm horizontally and 60cm vertically supports the flowing peacock-and-foliage pattern seen here, where turquoise tails, burnt terracotta feather spots and painterly blue leaves move across a pale ground. The fabric reads smooth and lightly lustrous rather than heavy, so the motif feels crisp and decorative without losing softness. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it suitable for statement curtains, accessories and characterful occasional seating.

How to use it

The cool teal accents and sandy ground work especially well with natural oak, brushed brass and chalky painted walls. Use it where the peacock motif can be seen at a little distance, such as curtains, a headboard or an accent chair.

Use it for statement upholstery or drapery where the vivid teal peacocks can take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
