About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is specified for severe contract use and has a 40,000 Martindale, making it a practical choice for busy interiors. The usable width is 147 cm, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with a colour fastness rating of 5. Visually, the onyx segments read as a deep charcoal-black with a fine vertical texture, while the background appears soft flax or stone, keeping the overall effect clean rather than heavy. The large 72 cm horizontal repeat and 64 cm vertical repeat support the bold, evenly spaced patterning seen in the swatch.

How to use it

This colourway works well on statement chairs, banquettes, or cushions where the dark geometric motif can hold its own. Pair it with pale plaster, oak, or blackened metal for a sharp, contemporary scheme.
