The Muse Fabrics FabricZOF0101-02

Evelyn Koi/Vine Black places oversized, painterly chrysanthemums against a deep near-black ground. Ivory and blush petals are warmed by terracotta accents, while sage leaves add a muted botanical counterpoint.

About this fabric

The large chrysanthemum arrangement repeats across the cloth with a 71 cm vertical repeat and 66 cm horizontal repeat, creating a clearly directional floral layout. Its near-black background reads dense and cool, bringing depth to the softer ivory, dusty blush and rust-toned petals. The supplied 258 gsm weight and 48.7 threads per cm describe a substantial mid-weight textile, while the 132 cm usable width allows the repeat to be considered across broad upholstery or drapery panels. A standard length of 60 m is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a room can carry a strong, dark floral statement: on a feature chair, bench or full-length curtains, pair the near-black ground with aged timber, warm ivory and muted sage accents. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the large chrysanthemum heads and their terracotta highlights remain the focus.

A dramatic near-black ground lets the ivory, blush, terracotta and sage chrysanthemum heads take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
