Jardine Fontaine Onyx Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

Jardine Fontaine Onyx Wavy brings a dramatic botanical print to a deep black ground, with vivid florals and butterflies that seem to float across the surface. The palette mixes coral pink, blue, turquoise and soft ivory for a rich, high-contrast look.

About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric has a smooth, lightly lustrous handle that suits both soft furnishings and statement upholstery. The design uses a large 69cm horizontal by 60cm vertical repeat, which lets the oversized flowers, butterflies and trailing stems read clearly across wider drops and cushions. With a usable width of 140cm and a martindale of 20,000, it is practical for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The black background gives the colourway a grounded, evening feel, while the coral, blue and turquoise motifs stand out with crisp, painterly brightness. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, adding flexibility for contract-conscious schemes.

How to use it

Use it for accent chairs, feature cushions or full-length curtains where the dark ground can frame the vivid floral colours. It works especially well with warm neutrals, aged brass and solid indigo or coral accents.

Pair with velvet, brass and pale wood to let the jewel-toned print glow against the dark ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
