Islay Twill Raffia

Islay Twill Fabric

Islay Twill Raffia has a softly mottled terracotta surface, where coral, ochre and muted golden threads blend into a warm raffia-like tone. Its fine diagonal twill gives the plain colour gentle movement without introducing a formal pattern.

About this fabric

The close-set weave reads as a warm, earthy orange with subtle pink-coral and straw-coloured variation across the surface. Fine diagonal ridges are visible throughout, creating a tactile grain that catches the light more softly than a smooth cloth. The restrained tonal shifts give this colourway depth while keeping its overall impression calm and informal. No further performance or composition specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this Raffia colourway to warm a neutral room, particularly on a relaxed upholstered chair, bench or full-length curtain. Pair its muted terracotta tone with chalky cream, natural timber, aged brass and soft olive accents.

A warm, finely textured terracotta twill that brings gentle depth to upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
