About this fabric

This tightly woven fabric shows a small, repeated diagonal structure that gives the surface a subtle herringbone character. The russet colour moves between muted terracotta, dusty rose and warm brown, creating gentle depth as the textured yarn catches the light. Its dense-looking woven face makes it visually suited to upholstery. No composition, width, rub-test or performance figures are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tummel Russet on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa where its warm terracotta-brown tone can bring depth without appearing vivid. Pair it with aged timber, warm neutrals and soft brown accents to draw out the colour’s earthy character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
