Tummel Sloe

Sloane Square Fabric

Tummel Sloe has a quiet, dusty mauve-pink appearance, softened by the fine herringbone weave visible across the surface. Its closely spaced texture gives the colour subtle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The weave combines muted pink and grey-taupe threads in a small, directional herringbone, creating a softly mottled surface. In the photograph, the sloe tone reads cool and understated, with lighter threads catching across the chevron texture. This compact woven appearance gives the fabric a neat, tailored character suited to both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tummel Sloe to introduce a restrained mauve-pink note to a room, pairing it with chalky neutrals, warm taupes or deep brown timber. The fine herringbone works particularly well on tailored seating, cushions or softly structured curtains.

The muted sloe-pink tone and fine herringbone texture bring understated colour and tailored texture to upholstery or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
