About this fabric

Part of the Mythica collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and has a 40,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for general domestic upholstery. The swatch shows a deep teal that sits close to green-black in the shadows, with just enough blue in the tone to keep it cool. Its tight, even weave softens the colour further and gives the surface a low-key, almost brushed appearance. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can also be treated differently on request, and professional dry clean in situ is recommended.

How to use it

Use Mythica Teal on a sofa, bench or occasional chair where the dark colour can anchor lighter walls and timber. It pairs especially well with pale oak, brass details and warm neutrals that let the teal read as deep and moody rather than black.
