Annie Vermillion

Annie Fabric

Annie Vermillion is a sharp chevron weave in a deep teal-green ground with pale, linen-toned zigzags running across the cloth. The contrast is clear but not bright, giving the pattern a crisp, tailored feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 52% polyester and 48% cotton, this Warwick upholstery fabric has a practical 20,000 Martindale rub test and a 137 cm width. The pattern repeat of H35 x V4.5 cm creates a tight, rhythmic chevron that reads as orderly rather than busy. In this colourway, the background sits in a dark teal with a slightly muted, earthy cast, while the lighter threads soften the zigzag into a flax-beige line. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with enough movement to add interest without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Annie Vermillion on a curved occasional chair, bench, or cushions where the small-scale chevron can be appreciated up close. It pairs especially well with walnut wood, brushed brass and warm neutrals, which bring out the fabric’s deep green-blue tone.

A crisp chevron in deep teal and flax works well on a tailored armchair or accent cushion.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Annie Vermillion without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
