About this fabric
This Cabaret colourway is built from a compact geometric pattern that reads almost mosaic-like in the cloth, with olive, forest, sage and near-black tones broken up by lighter woven highlights. The fabric is supplied as an upholstery cloth, 137 cm wide, with a Martindale rub test of 18,000, making it suitable for everyday seating rather than decorative-only use. Its 59% viscose, 29% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester blend gives the surface a slightly lustrous but grounded handle, with the texture visible in the image lending depth to the darker greens. The pattern repeat is H9 x V14 cm, so the design keeps a confident scale without feeling oversized. The overall effect is smart and earthy, with enough contrast to stop the green ground from reading flat.
How to use it
Use this deep olive colourway on a sofa, armchair or banquet seat where the faceted pattern can animate a simple silhouette. It pairs well with warm woods, aged brass and soft stone neutrals that pick up the fabric’s muted green and charcoal notes.
A rich olive palette with lighter mottling that suits tailored upholstery and statement pieces.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cabaret Vermillion without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
