About this fabric

The colour sits between warm cream and soft beige, with a gently mottled surface that gives the swatch more depth than a flat neutral. Fine crosswise and lengthwise yarns create a small-scale plain weave, while occasional slub-like variations add understated tactile interest. No performance features or further specification data have been supplied for this fabric. The restrained tone and non-directional weave make it a relaxed choice for upholstery where a calm, textured neutral is required.

How to use it

Use Clubhouse Flax on an armchair, sofa or dining seat alongside warm timber, chalky walls and woven natural accessories. Its pale flax-beige tone also works well as a quiet base for darker brown, olive or charcoal accents.

A softly natural flax-beige ground with a finely irregular woven texture, suited to relaxed upholstered pieces and tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
