About this fabric

This colourway sits between silver and cool dove grey, with a muted tone that feels light rather than stark. The surface has a soft, gently napped appearance, while delicate lighter and darker shifts prevent the grey from looking flat. Its quiet plain texture keeps the focus on the material’s changing light and shade rather than on a printed motif.

How to use it

Use Faze Aluminium on a contemporary sofa or occasional chair where its cool silver-grey tone can soften darker timber, charcoal, or blue-grey accents. Pair it with brushed metal and layered pale neutrals for a calm, tailored scheme.

A cool, softly brushed grey for understated upholstery with subtle tonal depth.

Pairs well with

Faze Aluminium is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
