Scribble Monochrome

Formation Fabric

Scribble Monochrome pairs a warm ivory background with a dense field of black, gestural linework. In this view, the dark marks sit sharply against the pale ground, giving the colourway a lively graphic presence.

About this fabric

This colourway places fine black angular marks over a warm ivory ground, creating a busy, hand-drawn surface with clear contrast. The marks vary from tiny broken strokes to larger open fragments, so the pattern reads as an energetic all-over rather than a single central motif. The repeat shown measures 69cm wide by 45cm high, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground to soften the graphic black linework against pale timber, chalky walls or other light neutrals. The high-contrast sketch effect would bring an informal, animated note to a chair, blind or full-length curtain.

A warm ivory-and-black graphic that brings lively contrast to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
