Blanket Cream

Burst Fabric

Blanket Cream brings a warm, light-filled interpretation to Burst, with a creamy ground crossed by broad, uneven beige bands. Its softly marked surface has the feel of an abstract, horizontal brush study.

About this fabric

The colourway is built from warm cream, ivory and pale beige, with the lighter ground allowing the broader beige strokes to remain gentle rather than dramatic. Irregular horizontal marks vary in density across the swatch, creating a relaxed painterly rhythm instead of a rigid repeat. A fine woven texture is visible throughout, giving the pale surface subtle depth as the light moves across it. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway, so technical performance should be confirmed before ordering.

How to use it

Use Blanket Cream on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its warm neutral base can soften stronger timber, stone or accent colours. Pair it with natural linens and understated beige textiles to echo the layered brushstroke effect without competing with it.

A softly textured cream ground with broad beige brushstroke bands, suited to relaxed upholstered pieces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Blanket Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
