Double Linen

2026 Paint PaintZOP1026-34

Double Linen is Zoffany’s calm, tailored neutral in the 2026 Paint range. It sits between pale biscuit and soft stone, with a steady warmth that feels composed rather than creamy.

About this colour

In #E0D7C6, Double Linen reads as a light warm beige with a gentle grey undertone, so it lifts a room without ever turning bright. On walls, it softens daylight and gives a quiet, settled background that works well in both Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion and True Matt. In a north-facing room it can look slightly cooler and more refined, with the grey note becoming clearer; in south-facing light the warmer biscuit side comes forward and the colour feels more sunlit. It sits easily beside oak, walnut and painted joinery, and it pairs well with natural linen shades, tobacco browns and muted greens.

How to use it

Use Double Linen in sitting rooms, hallways or bedrooms where you want a warm neutral that will not fight with patterned upholstery. It is a good partner for stained woodwork, or for crisp off-white joinery if you want the walls to feel a little softer.

A quiet warm neutral that gives walls a soft, settled look.

Order it with the cloth

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.

Pairs well with

Double Linen is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
