About this colour

This shade reads as a cool, muted duck-egg green with a grey base, so it lifts a room gently without turning bright or sugary. In north-facing light it will look slightly more slate and understated, with the green held back by the grey. In south-facing light the colour warms a little and the green note comes forward, while the overall effect stays quiet and balanced. It works well beside natural oak, painted joinery in off-white, and upholstery in linen, wool, or faded indigo.

How to use it

Duck Egg suits sitting rooms, bedrooms, and panelled spaces where a calm wall colour is needed without losing colour. It pairs well with pale woodwork, deep green, tobacco leather, and muted blue or stone-toned upholstery.
