Polar Bear

2026 Paint PaintZOP1102-14

Polar Bear is Zoffany’s gentle pale grey with a warm, softened edge. In the 2026 Paint range, it reads as an easy neutral rather than a stark white.

About this colour

This shade sits just off white, with enough warmth in its #E9E9DF value to stop it feeling icy or flat. On a wall it lifts the room quietly, holding light without bouncing it harshly, so it feels calm and open. In a north-facing room it can turn a touch cooler and more stone-like, while in south light it shows its creamy undertone more clearly. It works well beside pale oak, painted joinery in deeper greys, and upholstery in linen, taupe, or soft charcoal.

How to use it

Use Polar Bear in sitting rooms, bedrooms, or hallways where you want a light backdrop that still feels settled. It pairs neatly with natural woodwork, warm neutrals, and upholstery in muted sage, putty, or dusty blue.

A soft pale neutral like this will make a wall feel lighter without looking bright white.

Pairs well with

Polar Bear is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
