About this colour

This shade reads as a cool-leaning grey with a slight blue-violet undertone, giving it a composed, architectural feel on the wall. Its mid-value means it holds its own beside darker woods and patterned upholstery, while still leaving room for paler trims and linen shades to breathe. In north-facing light it can look a little cooler and more mineral, with the blue note becoming clearer. In south-facing rooms it softens and warms slightly, so the grey feels more rounded and less строге. Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion and True Matt each suit it well, depending on whether it is being used on woodwork or on walls.

How to use it

Use it in sitting rooms, studies or hallways where you want a neutral that can sit beside walnut, oak or painted joinery. It works neatly with navy, charcoal and mossy upholstery, and also gives a calm backdrop to cream curtains and pale timber furniture.
