Lava Zest

Formation Fabric

Lava Zest combines a pale ivory ground with irregular ochre-gold striations that run across the surface like softly brushed mineral marks. In the close-up, the textured face catches the light unevenly, giving the colourway gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is shown in a warm ivory tone, layered with muted yellow and ochre-gold markings. The elongated, broken striations create a medium-scale organic pattern, while the visibly nubby surface adds a softly dimensional quality. Its colouring feels sun-warmed and earthy, with the pale base keeping the overall effect light. The substantial-looking texture is well suited to upholstery, particularly cushions and relaxed seating.

How to use it

Use Lava Zest on a statement cushion or occasional chair where its ivory base can brighten the setting while the ochre-gold streaks connect with timber, tan leather and other warm neutrals.

The warm ivory ground and ochre-gold striations bring softly textured depth to upholstered seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
